Linear systems, eigenvalue problems, linear least square, interpolation, fast Fourier transformation, nonlinear equations, optimization, numerical differential equations |
|
課程目標 |
To solve mathematical problems in various disciplines by using computers, students are expected
* to get an overview of numerical methods,
* to know the motivation and ideas behind the algorithms,
* to use existed software packages, and
* to develop teamwork experience plus oral communication and writing skills.
Hands-on projects are emphasized. |
